The Mitel Integrated Configuration Wizard allows you to perform initial system setup and user commissioning of a MiVoice Business platform and the following MiCollab applications (only):
Teleworker
MiCollab Nupoint UM
MiCollab Speech Auto Attendant
MiCollab Audio, Web, and Video (Conferencing and collaboration application)
The wizard is installed on a maintenance PC, and then runs while the PC is either connected or disconnected from the MiVoice Business platform and the MiCollab server.
After you complete the configuration, you can save the file for future application to the MiVoice Business platform and MiCollab server. You can further customize the programming by importing .csv files using the wizard and by using the MiVoice Business System Administration Tool and the MiCollab User and Services application.

The Configuration Wizard supports the following installations:
Initial (greenfield) installations of MiVoice Business either as a standalone system or as part of a network or cluster.
Initial (greenfield) installation of MiVoice Business with MiCollab applications—i.e., MiVoice Business Express.
Adding new users to existing installations originally configured using the Configuration Wizard.
NOTES
To add new users to existing installations, no configuration changes are allowed to MiVoice Business or MiCollab server from the time that the initial configuration is applied by the wizard. In the case where a user already exists, the existing user data is preserved but the Class of Service is not.
Configuration of a new MAS/MiCollab system (MAS Release 2.0 or later) with an MCD/MiVoice Business (MCD Release 4.0, SP1 or later) results in COS modifications on the MiVoice Business system.
Supported trunks types are PRI, BRI, T1/D4, and analog (non-dial-in) trunks with the same answer point.
The Configuration Wizard does not support the configuration of existing MiVoice Business systems and MiCollab installations beyond the adding of new users, nor is it for use for day-to-day administration.
The Configuration Wizard does not support the configuration of:
new applications on existing (pre-configured) MiVoice Business and systems
existing applications and services on any MAS system older than MAS Release 5.0
MiCollab users who will be assigned Unified Communication & Collaboration (UCC) licenses (v2 or later). If your system will use UCC licensing, create users from Roles and Templates in the MiCollab Users and Services application.
MiCollab users who will be synchronized with an Integrated Directory Services (IDS) system. For MiCollab-IDS systems, you populate the user database by syncing it with the directory service and use Roles and Templates in the MiCollab Users and Services application to apply the licenses and services.
resilient applications other than MiCollab Nupoint UM and MiCollab Speech Auto Attendant
standalone applications (e.g., NuPoint on Mitel Communications Suite)
previous MiVoice Business releases
The Configuration Wizard does not support the provisioning of user data into a MAS Release 5.0 or later system that employs Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC) licensing (v2 or later). You must use the Bulk User Provisioning tool in the MAS Users and Services application.
The Configuration Wizard does not include programming for:
ACD Agents
Attendant Consoles
External ASUs
52xx series sets
NOTES
All of the above can be programmed by importing .csv files.
MiCollab services are not supported for some Mitel devices (for example, Analog, SpectraLink NetLink, and OpenPhone 26/27 devices). Refer to Single Point Provisioning topic in the MiCollab Users and Services Online help for a list of the Mitel IP devices supported by MAS).
For a list of unsupported devices, see the MiVoice Business Migration Guidelines document.
Before you can apply a configuration, you must ensure the following:
all option boards are installed in the 3300 controller. The system configuration created with the wizard must match the installed hardware.
the MiCollab/MiVoice Business server console is fully configured, running, and connected to the network with all required applications installed and licenses purchased and enabled.
Secure Shell Access is enabled in the MiCollab/MiVoice Business server console. In the server console, under Security, click Remote Access. In the Secure Shell Access field, select Allow access only from local networks. Then, set the following options to Yes:
Allow Administrators command line access over secure shell
Allow secure shell access using standard passwords
You also need the following:
IP address of the MiVoice Business system and the MiCollab server
IP address of the Controller server (EX platform only)
Login password of the Server Manager to configure MiVoice Business system
